Life is not happening to you.

It is responding to you.  

Most people wake up in the morning and wonder “what’s going to happen to me today?” “Will it be a good day or a bad day?” 

What we need to remember is we always have a choice.  

You can always make the decision to choose a new way of looking at your life. Always. 

Sometimes it feels like we don’t have a choice, but consider this..............You wake up in the morning and you stub your toe on the edge of the bed, you start to think about all of your problems, You look at your phone. You see some horrible thing on the news. You grumble your way through your AM routine. You fight your way through traffic. You spill coffee on your favorite shirt. A bad day has begun….

Okay now STOP. breathe. And Choose how you want the rest of the day to go. 

You can choose in the moment to change your focus. Practice gratitude. For your job. For friends, coworkers, family- connections. For your dog.  For clean water, For anything that is lovely in your life. If you can’t think of anything, just be thankful for your breath. Just shift your focus. 

You start to focus on all of the good things in your life and a bad day suddenly gets better.  

Try it.

It Works.

It’s simple.

But like so many powerful life changing practices its is not always easy.

Once you acknowledge that your attitude can affect your life, you can choose to sstop being a victim. You can choose to shift your focus.  You can choose to be in of how your day goes.

Your life will respond to your Decision to change your energy. 

A bad day can get better. 

A good day can get great. 

You always have a choice. Always. Yes even now.
